Misionero, a leading organic green vegetable grower, is pleased to announce the relaunch of Salade du Soleil, a unique salad brand made by Misionero more than 20 years ago. This line will include three new salad mixes: Orginale, Verte and Rouge.
Since 1997, Misionero has continued to look for innovative ways to deliver better products to customers and consumers. In the past few years, most spring salad mixes were considered less firm in texture, which caused a decline in sales. By leaving the greens fully ripe before harvesting, the Salade du Soleil line offers a healthier blend that pairs and is more resistant to sanitary napkins, making it the ideal choice for retail and food service customers.
“At Misionero, we are committed to innovation that enables us to continue to strengthen our food services and retail product lines,” said Nicole Zapata, marketing manager at Misionero.
“When we were looking for a unique spring mix, we immediately thought of Salade du Soleil and knew the time was right to revive the brand.”
The first addition to the Salade du Soleil product line was a mixture of Orginale, Verte and Rouge springs. Orignale is a unique blend of green salads that not only offers exceptional taste and texture, but also beautiful color variations for dishes. The Verte mixture uses whole, green lettuce while Rouge uses the whole, red lettuce leaves.
The new Salade du Soleil line will debut at Organic Produce Summit at booth # 819. For more information about the various products offered by Misionero, visit https://www.misionero.com.
